Does anyone know where oversized 4efe pistons can be got? It's looking like my block will have to be bored and rehoned. The 4efe pistons have the highest compression of all the pistons so I don't think I could use the 5e oversized n/a pistons that can easily be found.

4e have a larger dome than the 5efhe pistons but they couldn't be used in the 5e as they would clout the valves. There was a comparison thread on a paseo forum in canada as far as I can recall.

I was going to use 5efhe pistons for myself in the new engine but would prefer higher compression.

4e on left , 5efhe on right

There's loads of debate over it on tercel and paseo forums like this:

I've been searching ebay etc. and can find 5efe n/a pistons easily but not the 4efe ones Sad

Bump. Does anyone know if these can be got anywhere? I'd like to freshen up the bottom end but if I can't find them I'll leave it be.

But if the block gets honed they'll be too small? I have the original pistons and was told I can't just re-hone and put new rings in.
