I'm having a problem when driving the car. The boost gauge goes up to boost but starts to climb back down if you keep it pushed.

I'm pretty sure I can hear an exhaust leak too.
Would I be right in saying this is a leak between manifold and turbo causing this?

Don't think a boost leak kenny I can hear the exhaust kind of rasping and there's not much pressure at the back box.

Sham is yours an autobahn88 manifold?

Had the manifold off today and it's leaking in a few spots.

Does anyone know what type of material is in the standard manifold for me to get it welded?

Standard mani is cast,
Not as simple as welding.

Has to be red hot in order to weld I was told before,
Better off pick up a second hand good one

cast is simple to weld cannon dont be afraid !!!!! cut a groove tru the crack and 2 smal drill holes where the cracks end get a flame torch and heat the fuck out of it put ur weld on it and trow the manni in a bucket off sand and leave cool for 24 hours

it will be like new then

make sure the sand is dry !!!!!

cast can be tricky, there was a welder near me who was a great cast welder, he used heat it first then weld it and cover it in sawdust to let it cool , some use a blow torch before and after welding, iv welded cast before, welding its the easy part its the cooling after is the important part, cool too fast and it will crack again, as about your better off getting another mani, what a welder would cost to fix it youd pick up another mani

I'm friendly with a very good welder and he'd be heating it in a oven and burying it in sand after to let it cool slowly.
I might as well give it a go as it won't cost me that much
