As long as the tire is under the arch it will pass an nct.

Why do you want to stretch the tires. Are you caught for space?

if it's just low and slow your aiming for i'd say work away, if not i'd go for a better fitting wheel.

If you strech your tires and dont lower your coilovers you'll just get arch gap and will look shit. Mad strech wont pass nct. I have mad strech on my wheels, pic's of arch gap now would be handy. And the bit question.. do you have coilovers? Its not how wide the wheel is etheir, its all about the ET

^^ couldn't agree more, my rear use to rub at times due to the et of the wheels that were on so i changed them for better fitting wheels (but same width) that sit under the arch and hay-presto... no more arch rub cheers
