| All they want to see is if the number plate is going to fall of is it the right size and font and they are happy. I've even gone in with a number plate upside down and it passed |

| it all depends on the size of the plate they alone jap pressed plates alright but have to be a certain size https://www.ncts.ie/NCT%20Manual%20Revise%20May%202012.pdf go down to page 9 on the link you see sizes mine passed in 2 different cork centers with jap pressed plates |

this comes up alot, and as i do plates i have had countless arguments about plates once the car has a recess for the jap square plates the pass the nct. . .glanza levin type r etc standard irish corolla with a huge space for the plate is a fail, as the space is there for a long plate, got this info from the manager of the nct in tralee and he is far from sound. . . so if its jap. . .jap plates pass nct not jap. . .long plates |

| Mine should have long plates, have a glanza boot on it with the recess and jap pressed plates and passed no bother |
