Planning on the same myself.
Depending on my work status, I hope to start a build in the next couple of months, to be ready to rally in 2017. Going to be doing a bit of navigating in 2016 if all goes to plan, then hope to have a car of my own ready to drive in 2017.

Civic is the mostly likely build I'll be going for due to the amount of parts readily available for them

its a costly sport.. as long as you have the correct help and advice you will be grand..

i done my first event as a navigator in October and will never regret it..

half considering getting into the navigating myself this year, and hopefully start driving in a couple of years. Would ye recommend getting a bit of navigating experience under the belt before driving or does it really matter?

if you can get a few events done with a relativity experienced driver you will learn the ropes a bit quicker.. people think its all about just calling notes on the stages but there is alot more to it.. time cards, early in or late in to time controls .. class positions can be lost by a simple mistake on the time cards..
