Rainsports are by far the better tyre imo. t1R's are a budget tyre in Japan I was told, dunno why there is such a hype around them...

Thanx for comments lads.
Looks like I'm gonna go for rainsports so.

What are they like on motorways?

I've always had contis, but that size only comes in vintage tread pattern...

I've hankooks from factory and they drive me crazy with road noise

@ Chris, thanx for that link. That's really good price.

That's actually ready good comparison page Connor, thanx.

According to that chart rainsports are 30% louder than hankooks I have atm

So what are they really like on Irish roads?

I take less gripping tyre if its less noisy.

I've had t1-r before and was happy with performance,
will newer buy bridgestones and good year again.

Rainsport comes with recommendations from different sources,
but ideally looking for feedback from users.

Right lads, after factory fitted hankooks ,

got me self set of Continetals, silent and grippy, bit lasted just over 10k,

so next were yokohama parada spec2, savage gripy on public roads, 70kms on Mondello worn them out.
Then finally Rainsports, brilliant in anyway, haven't try them on track though.
