Think it goes off the age of your car at the next nct renewal date Lad, so for you, 15months is max ? Same with my brothers 07 bmw next January most he can get now is 15 months. You can always ring them ? Found them a very helpful bunch surpsingly !!!

If you are looking to get another 2 year test on a ten year old car, once you test it more than 3 months before it's 10th birthday you can; (test he car before it is 9 years and 9 months old).

So if your car was first reg'd January 07, if you test it in August or September this year through voulentary eary testing, you will get another two year NCT but if you test it between October and January you will only get a one year NCT.

As far as I know voluntary early testing is in, you can forfeit your regular test date. So if your car has test till December and you test it now in july (5 months early) you will have test till July next year or the following year depending on age of car.

Just off the phone, very easy to deal with,so for anyone driving a 07 car,if you do your test atleast 90 days before its due,you will get a cert for 2 years from the day you do the test
